Personal Information Collect, Use, Disclosure and Consent

Personal Information may include your email address, interests, likes, gender, birthday, current city, photos(public_profile, user_likes, user_friends, email, user_photos, user_gender, user_age_range, user_link, user_birthday, user_location, user_posts, manage_pages), vacation packages of interest, personality scores, Wishlist items/locations, relationship status, body type education, ethnicity, religious affiliation, level of interest in sex, level of interest in companionship, level of interest in love and income.

We are committed to providing our clients, customers, members ("you", "your" or "them") with exceptional service. Providing exceptional service may involve the collection, use and, at times, the disclosure of your Personal Information. Protecting your Personal Information is one of our highest priorities. While we have always respected your privacy and safeguarded all Personal Information, we have strengthened our commitment to this goal. This is to continue to provide exceptional service to you and to comply with all laws regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information. We will inform you of why and how we collect, use and disclose Personal Information; obtain your consent, as required; and handle Personal Information according to applicable law. Our privacy commitment includes ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of your Personal Information and allowing you to request access to, and correction of, your personal information. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

We will only collect Personal Information that is necessary to fulfill the following purposes:

To open and manage an account;

To ensure you receive a high standard of service;

We will obtain your consent to collect, use or disclose Personal Information. In some cases, we can do so without your consent (see below). You provide implied consent where our purpose for collecting using or disclosing your Personal Information would be considered obvious or reasonable in the circumstances. Consent may also be implied where you have notice and a reasonable opportunity to opt-out of having your Personal Information used for mail-outs, marketing or fundraising and you do not opt-out.

We may collect, use or disclose Personal Information without the consent:

In an emergency that threatens an individual's life, health, or personal security;

When the Personal Information is available from a public source;

When we require legal advice from a lawyer;

For the purposes of collecting a debt or protection from fraud;

Other legally established reasons.

We will not sell your Personal Information to other parties unless consent has been provided or implied. We retain your Personal Information for the time necessary to fulfill the identified purposes or a legal or business purpose. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that your Personal Information is accurate and complete. You may request correction to your Personal Information to ensure its accuracy and completeness. A request must be in writing and provide sufficient detail to identify your Personal Information and the correction being sought.

We are committed to ensuring the security of your Personal Information and may use passwords, encryption, firewalls, restricted employee access or other methods, in our discretion. We will use appropriate security measures when destroying your Personal Information such as shredding documents or deleting electronically stored information, in our discretion. Log Data We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

In addition, we may use third-party services, such as Facebook Social Connect API, LinkedIn Social Connect API, and Pinterest Social Connect API; that collect, monitor and analyze this type of information in order to increase our Service's functionality. These third-parties may use cookies to help us analyze how our users are using the Service and they have their own Privacy Policies addressing how they use such information.

Cookies

Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer's hard drive. We use "cookies" to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service. If you do not instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent, your consent to our use of your Personal Information may be implied.

Advertisements

The Service may have advertisements that are served by third-party service providers. These third-parties may collect and use information about you, including OS version, browser type, browser version, and other type of information, to show advertising of interest to you. These third-parties may also collect information regarding the performance of the advertisements they provide, such as how many times an advertisement is shown, the number of click-throughs of an advertisement, and so on.

Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Communications

We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send or by contacting us.

Compliance With Laws

As set out above, and for clarity, we will disclose your Personal Information where required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of our Service.

Business Transaction

If Alorion Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Information may be transferred. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice before your Personal Information is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Security

The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but let it be noted that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In case a user gains unauthorized access to our systems or networks in order to steal information from other users Tripanion will not be held responsible for such private information.

International Transfer

Your information, including Personal Information, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. If you are located outside Canada and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the information, including Personal Information, to Canada and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

Links To Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third-party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 ("Minor").

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Minors. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Minor has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from Minors without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers. We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

Information we collect

To provide the Tripanion Service, we must process information about you. The types of information we collect depends on how you use our Services.

Things you and others do and provide

 Information and content you provide. In order to register as a user with Tripanion, you will be asked to sign in using your Facebook login. If you do so, you authorize us to access certain Facebook account information, such as your public Facebook profile (consistent with your privacy settings in Facebook), your email address, interests, likes, gender, birthday, current city, photos(public_profile, user_likes, user_friends, email, user_photos, user_gender, user_age_range, user_link, user_birthday, user_location, user_posts, manage_pages). Other forms of data that we collect are as follows, but not limited to, vacation packages of interest, personality scores, Wishlist items/locations, relationship status, body type education, ethnicity, religious affiliation, level of interest in sex, level of interest in companionship, level of interest in love and income. We collect the content and other information you provide when you use our Service, including when you sign up for an account, create or share content, and message or communicate with others. This can include information in or about the content you provide (like metadata), such as the location of a photo or the date a file was created. Our systems automatically process content and communications you and others provide to analyze context and what's in them for the purposes described below and also to provide customer user protection against abuse by penalizing users who use offensive language and abuse other chat users.

 Data with special protections: You can choose to provide information in your Tripanion profile fields about your religious affiliation, race, ethnic origin, level of interest in sex, level of interest in companionship, level of interest in love, sexual orientation, personality scores, Wishlist items/locations, relationship status, body type, education, income or who you are "interested in". This information could be subject to special protections under the laws of your country.

 Your usage. We collect information about how you use our Service, such as the types of content you provide to us, personal quiz; the features you use; the actions you take; the people or accounts you interact with; and the time, frequency and duration of your activities. For example, we log when you're using and have last used our Service. We also collect information about how you use features like our camera.



Device Information

As described below, we collect information from and about the computers and phones. Information we obtain from these devices includes:

 Device attributes: information such as the operating system, hardware and software versions.

 Device operations: information about operations and behaviors performed on the device, such as whether a window is foregrounded or backgrounded.

 Data from device settings: information you allow us to receive through device settings you turn on, such as access to your GPS location, camera or photos.

 Network and connections: information such as IP address and time zone.

Tripanion users' information and data retrieved includes, but is not limited to: alias, email, profile picture, background, gender, likes, following, friends, followers, interests, groups, skills, events, pins, rich pins, and other social data users have provided to these social networks. The users' information is collected for the purpose of improving our users' experience. General

Our use of the API and Social Connect Data, including the collection, use, maintenance and disclosure of user data complies with all applicable laws, rules and regulations and the terms of this Policy, and any advertising, marketing, privacy, or other self-regulatory code(s) applicable to our industry.

We do not take any action that constitutes unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, junk or bulk e-mail.



Authorization

We take commercially reasonable steps, compliant with applicable laws, rules and regulations, to protect all data we collect, obtain or access through the API or that users submit to the Social Connect service through our app ("Social Connect Data") and our authentication key from unauthorized use, disclosure or access.

We do not give our authentication key to another party and we take responsibility for any and all use of the API using our authentication key.

Social Connect may revoke our authentication credentials at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice, and without liability to us or any other person.

We do notify us immediately in the event of any unauthorized access to Social Connect Data, our authentication key, and/or our app.



Our app authenticates Social Connect service users:

We do not include functionality in our app that requests or collects Social Connect username or passwords, and we may only permit users to log in via OAuth2.

Our app provides a link to the Social Connect service settings page where the user can disconnect our app from the Social Connect service.



Access/Use

We will only request the Social Connect Data we need to operate our app and make no further use of it and delete it when our app has no such further use for it, including, without limitation, when a user has withdrawn consent.

Social Connect expressly reserves the right to limit the number and/or frequency of API requests in its sole discretion. If Social Connect reasonably believes that we have attempted to exceed or circumvent the rate limits (including, without limitation, through mass-registering of applications), our ability to use the API may be temporarily or permanently blocked, with or without notice, and without Social Connect liability to us or any other person.

If our app requires or permits the transfer of user information outside of the user's home country, we ensure that such transfer complies with applicable laws.

If our app collects, obtains or accesses any information about Social Connect service users or submits any user information to Social Connect, whether acting as a user of our app or indirectly:

We prominently notify and obtain affirmative consent from the user before his or her location data is collected or used by our app. The notification clearly discloses that both we and Social Connects collect and use the user's location data;

We respect a user's Social Connect user settings.

We obtain affirmative consent from the user who provided the data before using it for any purpose other than displaying it back to that user on our app.

We obtain affirmative consent from a user before we post any information on their behalf on our app, the Social Connect service or through any third party service.

If a user authorizes our app to access the Social Connect service, we may use such user's Social Connect service friends' data only in the context of the user's experience with our app. we may not use a user's friends' information outside of our app, even if a user consents to such use. No other use or retention of friend information is permitted.

Our app may not falsify the location of a user when communicating with Social Connect.

We may not publicly display any personal information of a user (e.g., name or profile photos) in any advertisement or promotions without written consent.

If we receive any de-identified Social Connect Data, we will not use the Social Connect Data in combination with any other content, documentation, code, data and related materials made available through any other Social Connect product, service or application programming interface, or any product, service or application of any third party, to deanonymize, or attempt to deanonymize by any manner or means, any Social Connect Data or to otherwise identify any individual.

If we use any Social Connect location information, we comply with our location database platform usage rules.

If our app is using the Social Connect API to build an integration that is similar to the essential user experience of Social Connect platforms by providing services around local discovery, search, or recommendations, which may be subject to additional terms.

If we use any "Explore" Social Connect Data we will not co-mingle any ranking and/or signal information obtained from such Social Connect Data with our own or third party ranking and/or signal information.

Access to the API is currently provided for free, but Social Connect reserves the right to charge for access to the API in the future, at its sole discretion. If we do charge a fee for using the API or any feature thereof, we do not have any obligation to continue to use the API or the applicable feature.

Promote safety, integrity and security.

We use the information we have to verify accounts and activity, combat harmful conduct, detect and prevent spam and other bad experiences, maintain the integrity of our Products, and promote safety and security on and off of Facebook Products. For example, we use data we have to investigate suspicious activity or violations of our terms or policies, or to detect when someone needs help. Communicate with you

We use the information we have to send you marketing communications, communicate with you about our Products, and let you know about our policies and terms. We also use your information to respond to you when you contact us.



Retention

Our app offers a simple means for users to disable our app, upon which disabling, we shall permanently delete all data of such user.

We may cache data we receive through use of the API in order to improve our app's user experience, but we should try to keep the data up to date and delete all old data. This permission does not give we any rights to cached data. For clarity, and without limitation,

We may not cache or store any Social Connect places information (including tips and venue photos) for more than 30 days without refreshing.

We may not cache a user's raw check-in information for more than 24 hours without refreshing.

We may not cache any data for any person that has not authorized Our app (e.g., friends of users of Our application) for more than 3 hours.

We may not track a user's check-in history or retain any data derived from a user's check-in history without first making the desired use clear to the user and obtaining affirmative consent to that use from that user. This includes tracking users via "here now" or top visitors of a venue.

In no event may we cache any data for more than 30 days.

If we stop using the API or we disable our app, we delete all Social Connect Data.

We delete all data concerning a user that we receive from the API if the user asks we to do so, and we provide a simple and easily accessible mechanism for users to make such a request. We may require we to delete data we receive from the API if We violate our terms. In the event that we do, we will have no liability to we or any other person.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event Social Connect (a) ceases to provide the API or its places database through the API or (b) elects to charge for access to the API or its places database, and we elect not to continue to use the API because of such charges and we notify Social Connect in writing of the same (each a "Transition Event"), hereby allow us to retain the Transition Venue Information (as defined below) for a period of 3 months after the Transition Event ("Transition Period") while we transition our service and/or app to a different places database. If at any time during the Transition Period We transition to a new places database, the license from Social Connect automatically terminates and we delete any such Transition Venue Information within 30 days after such transition, provided that We may continue to use any Social Connect venue ids. For the purposes of this Policy, "Transition Venue Information" means the address, phone number, email address, lat/lng information, url and twitter handle associated with any venue We accessed prior to the Transition Event.



No Transfer

We will not directly or indirectly transfer any Social Connect Data, including user data or Social Connect user IDs, to (or use such data in connection with) any ad network, ad exchange, data broker, or other advertising or monetization related toolset, even if a user consents to such transfer or use. By "indirectly," we mean we cannot, for example, transfer data to a third party who then transfers the data to an ad network. By "any Social Connect Data," we mean all data obtained through use of the API, including aggregate, anonymous or derivative data.

We will not sell, rent, or transfer any Social Connect Data. If we are acquired by or merge with a third party, we may continue to use user data within our app, but we may not transfer data outside our app.



Social Connect Privacy Policy

If we collect, use, store or disclose any Social Connect Data:

We provide a privacy policy to users of our app that clearly discloses how we collect, use, store and disclose user data, including that:

We receive and use Social Connect service user data, including a description of the categories of user data received and how we use and disclose it;

We share user data with Social Connect, for use by Social Connect for its own purposes; and

We clearly and conspicuously present Our privacy policy to each user at the point of download, installation, authorization or first-run, and we also make the policy available from the home page of our app.

Our app does not collect personally identifiable information of any user unless it first informs the user about the types of information being collected and how that information may be used and then obtains the user's express permission for those uses.



Attribution/Trademarks

In connection with Our use of the API and Social Connect Data we must comply with our the attribution and linking policy. Additionally, we are required to display all attribution information and any proprietary notices associated with the Social Connect Data that we collect, obtain or access through the API, including without limitation data from third party data providers.



Our app does not:

Use business names and/or logos in a manner that can mislead, confuse or deceive users (e.g., do not copy the look and feel of the Social Connect service);

Confuse or mislead users about the source or purpose of our app;

Impersonate or facilitate impersonation of others in a manner that can mislead, confuse or deceive users.

We do not express or imply any affiliation or relationship with or endorsement by us.

If our app displays any Social Connect logos or trademarks, we must prominently include the following statement: "All of the Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. logos (including all badges) and trademarks displayed on this [application/service] are the property of Social Connect Labs, Inc."

We must read and comply with the Trademark and Brand Feature Guidelines



Permissions/Feedback

By incorporating the API into our app or service, we agree that Social Connect may collect and use information from our app and our users as described in our Privacy Policy. We also agree that Social Connect may use automated methods to analyze our app or service where the API and/or Social Connect Materials have been incorporated. Any information we or our users submit, upload, post, create, or add to the Social Connect services through our use of the API (including, without limitation, the use by users of our service and/or app) shall be deemed a User Submission.

Social Connect shall have the right to use, reproduce, transfer, sublicense and otherwise exploit perpetually any place, venue, latitude and longitude, or other location information that we or our users submit, upload, post, create or add to the Social Connect services through our use of the API (including, without limitation, the use by users of our app).

If we choose to submit comments, ideas or feedback, we agree that Social Connect is free to use them without any restriction or compensation to us. By accepting our submission, Social Connect does not waive any rights to use similar or related feedback previously known to Social Connect, or developed by its employees, or obtained from sources other than us.

Build a quality product

We built an app that is stable and easily navigable.

We keep our app’s description and categorization up-to-date.

We do not confuse, deceive, defraud, mislead, spam or surprise anyone.



Give people control

We obtain consent from people before publishing content on their behalf.

We do not prefill captions, comments, messages, or the user message parameter of posts with content a person didn’t create, even if the person can edit or remove the content before sharing.

We provide a publicly available and easily accessible privacy policy that explains what data we are collecting and how we will use that data.

We may use Account Information in accordance with our privacy policy. All other data may only be used outside our app after we have obtained explicit user consent.

We include our privacy policy URL in the App Dashboard (navigation) and footer.

We delete all of a person’s data we have received if that person asks us to, unless we are required to keep it by law, regulation, or separate agreement with us. We may keep aggregated data only if no information identifying a specific person could be inferred or created from it.

We obtain consent from people before using their data in any ad.

We obtain adequate consent from people to collect and process data about them, including for example, SDKs and browser pixels. When we use such technology, disclose to people in our privacy policy.

If we are tracking a person's activity, provide an opt-out from that tracking.

We provide meaningful customer support for our app, and make it easy for people to contact we.



Protect data

We only show data obtained from a user access token on the devices associated with that token.

If we cache data we receive from us, use it to improve our app’s user experience and keep it up to date.

We keep private our secret key and access tokens. We can share them with an agent acting to operate our app if they sign a confidentiality agreement.

If we use any partner services, make them sign a contract to protect any information we obtained from us, limit their use of that information, and keep it confidential.

We do not put Facebook data in a search engine or directory, or include web search functionality on Facebook.

If we are acquired by or merge with a third party, we can continue to use users' data only within our app.

Tripanion implements technical and organizational security measures to safeguard stored personal data against inadvertent or deliberate manipulation, loss or destruction and against access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological progress.

We encourage proper use

If our service integrates a person’s data into a physical product, only create a physical product for that person’s personal and non-commercial use.

We do not build an app whose primary purpose is to redirect people off of Facebook.

If we want to use Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram 's logos or brand, follow the guidelines in the Facebook Brand Resource and Permissions Center. Ad networks and data brokers must ascertain Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram 's written permission before using Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram 's Platform, logos, or trademarks.



If we use the Like button on iOS or Android, do not collect or use any information from it.



Follow the law

We are responsible for restricting access to our content in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, including geo-filtering or age-gating access where required.

We do not provide or promote content that infringes upon the rights of any third party.

We ensure that we own or secure all rights necessary to display, distribute and deliver all content in our app.

We satisfy all licensing, reporting and obligations to third parties in connection with our app.

If our app contains content submitted or provided by third parties:

In the United States, we must take all steps required to fall within the app safe harbors of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act including designating an agent to receive notices of claimed infringement, instituting a repeat infringer termination policy and implementing a notice and takedown process.

In other countries, we comply with local copyright laws and implement an app notice and takedown process for when we receive a notice of claimed infringement.

If applicable, comply with the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA) and obtain any opt-in consent necessary to share data on Facebook.

Legal requests and preventing harm



We access, preserve and share your information with regulators, law enforcement or others:

 In response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. This may include responding to legal requests from jurisdictions outside of the United States when we have a good-faith belief that the response is required by law in that jurisdiction, affects users in that jurisdiction, and is consistent with internationally recognized standards.

 When we have a good-faith belief it is necessary to: detect, prevent and address fraud, unauthorized use of the Products, violations of our terms or policies, or other harmful or illegal activity; to protect ourselves (including our rights, property or Products), you or others, including as part of investigations or regulatory inquiries; or to prevent death or imminent bodily harm. For example, if relevant, we provide information to and receive information from third-party partners about the reliability of your account to prevent fraud, abuse and other harmful activity on and off our Products.

Information we receive about you (including financial transaction data related to purchases made with Facebook) can be accessed and preserved for an extended period when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations of possible violations of our terms or policies, or otherwise to prevent harm. We also retain information from accounts disabled for terms violations for at least a year to prevent repeat abuse or other term violations.

Notification of this Policy changes

We'll notify you before we make changes to this policy and give you the opportunity to review the revised policy before you choose to continue using our Services.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") govern your relationship with Tripanion (the "Service") operated by Alorion Inc. ("us", "we", or "our").

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Service.

Your access to and use of the Service is based on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and accept all legal consequences. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, in whole or in part, please do not use the Service.



Content

Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("Content"). You are responsible for the Content that you post to the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.

By posting Content to the Service, you grant us the right and license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content on and through the Service. You retain any and all of your rights to any Content you submit, post or display on or through the Service and you are responsible for protecting those rights. You agree that this license includes the right for us to make your Content available to other users of the Service, who may also use your Content subject to these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach the Terms.

Alorion Inc. its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.

If you breach any of these Terms and Alorion Inc. chooses not to immediately act, or chooses not to act at all, Alorion Inc. will still be entitled to all rights and remedies at any later date, or in any other situation, where you breach these Terms. Alorion Inc. does not waive any of its rights. Alorion Inc. shall not be responsible for any purported breach of these Terms caused by circumstances beyond its control.
